This King's College Chapel doorway needs an explanation: The Chapel was started when Henry VI laid the first
stone in 1446. Henry VIII was king when the building was completed in 1515. This transom in a Chapel doorway
is solid stone and has been worn down by more than 500 years of footsteps on it from earlier than 1515 to 2015.
